The Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, Florida, posted this information of one of two leopards born on February 29. The two cubs, both females, are named Aya and Sigu.
According to a statement released by the zoo, the cubs are at a new stage of development where they can explore the outside world, which is crucial for their development.

According to the zoo, dark leopards are the smallest of the big cats. They weigh only 30 to 60 pounds when mature and are about five feet long, including the tail. The misty leopard is a shy, lonely cat that lives in the forests and rainforests of Southeast Asia. Due to deforestation, hunting and poaching, this species is classified as «vulnerable».
