It is always difficult to leave your pet in someone else’s hands. But it gets a little easier when that person is your family. And you know you can trust them to take care of your dog. So when Meghan Specksgoor had to leave her dog for a few days, the only one she knew that would take care of her adorable one was her father.
And she was absolutely right. Here is how she commented the relationship between her father and dog: ‘’They usually get along very well. Chance is allowed to do whatever he wants with my father — like a real grandchild — and gets all sorts of treats all the time he’s with him’’.
To make it even more adorable, this is how she found Chance:
‘’I entered the Richmond Animal League with a friend of mine who was looking for a puppy. And walked away with a completed application for Chap’’.
Chap was brought to RAL with a broken jaw. We was operated on to put a plate in his jaw and since then he’s been perfect.
Later the name Chap was appropriately changed to Chance since he was given a second chance in his life.
